CaptureXT

CaptureXT will capture (a.k.a. take a screenshot) of whatever is displayed on your screen. It can capture a rectangular region of the screen, the entire screen, the window that’s currently active, a circular area, a polygonal area, a rounded rectangle, freehand area, multiple rectangular areas, or an object. You get to choose what CaptureXT will capture.

Once it’s captured an image, CaptureXT will present said image on its interface. It does this so you can edit it. The editing functions include: add text, draw arrows, add shapes, add callouts, add a border, invert the colors, make the image black & white, rotate the image, and more. All the editing features are clearly presented on CaptureXT’s interface so you can easily access them.

To get CaptureXT up and running on your PC, you’ll have to go through a standard installation procedure. Download an installer, run it, and then follow the instructions presented onscreen. The whole thing will take little of your time and a minimal amount of effort.

If you thought that CaptureXT is free software, I’m sorry for having to disappoint you. This screen capture tool is not free, it’s only free to try for an evaluation period of 14 days. A prompt will show up every time you launch CaptureXT and tell you how many days are left in your trial.
